Baptism (or Christening)
Baptism marks the beginning of your journey with Christ. This stays with you throughout your life. At this service we welcome you into Gods Family.
A person can be Baptised at any age, not nesessarily whilst very young. They normally have three Godparents who should be practising Christians. It can often be a fun occassion and is often held during our Parish Communion Service.
Confirmation
Confirmation is the next step after baptism. It concerns the laying on of hands by the Bishop, confirming your vows that were read at baptism and emphasises the role of the Holy Spirit in your life.
Weddings and Blessings
Weddings are most joyful occassions and holding this in St Michael's makes the service spiritual and meaningful as you committ to one another in the next chapter of your journey in life with Christ.
